Revealed: What really killed Hulk Hogan

More details have emerged about what led to the death of American wrestling icon, Hulk Hogan.

Hogan died on July 24 in Florida at the age of 71.

His official cause of death has now been confirmed as acute myocardial infarction, a heart attack, according to a cremation approval report obtained by Page Six.

The report also revealed that the WWE legend had been secretly battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

Hogan was also diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, a condition that causes irregular and often rapid heartbeat, which may have contributed to his deteriorating health.

The cause of death has been ruled as natural.

A spokesperson at the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center confirmed that a request for cremation approval had been submitted, but the actual date for the process was not disclosed.

Hogan’s close friend and former wrestling executive, Eric Bischoff, said the late wrestler sounded weak and tired during their final conversation.

“He said, ‘I really want to see you, but I’m kind of embarrassed for you to see me this way,’” Bischoff recalled on his podcast.

Despite the physical decline, Hogan’s vibrant personality reportedly remained intact to the end.

Meanwhile, Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, paid tribute to her father in a heartfelt Instagram post, revealing that she “felt it” when he passed even before the news reached the family.

“He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope,” she wrote. “Like meeting God was the greatest championship he’d ever have.”

She also addressed their strained relationship, saying they had reconnected in private before his death, during which he opened up about his struggles.

Hogan had endured nearly 25 surgeries in his final years
