During a heart-to-heart conversation with fellow housemate Otega, Thelma disclosed that she was waiting for her mother to visit her in the hospital after childbirth, unaware that her mother had already passed away.
Reflecting on the painful memory, Thelma said,
“On my mom’s very last birthday, they [she and her friends] had checked into a hotel that has a nice lounge, swimming pool and everything, and they had a really nice time before she passed.”
When asked about the biggest lesson her mother’s passing taught her, Thelma responded,
“One thing is that she really does take her time to make decisions.”
