Teacher found dead in tricycle

A 51-year-old private school teacher, Mrs. Emmanuel Love Onuora, was found dead inside a tricycle (Keke Napep) in Aba, Abia State.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 29, along Aba Road.

According to reports, Mrs. Onuora had boarded the tricycle for her usual commute when another passenger joined the ride. It was the new passenger who noticed she was unusually quiet and unresponsive.

Attempts to wake her up failed.

The tricycle operator, identified as Mr. Okechukwu Sunday from Anambra but residing in Aba, immediately alerted security operatives at the Area Command.

She was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, where doctors confirmed she was dead.

Her body has been deposited at a nearby morgue.

Police say investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
