Iyanya replies social media user who queried him over N500,000 gift to Nurse

Music artiste, Iyanya has replied social media user who queried him for promising to gift a nurse who defied strike, N500,000.

Recall that PM News earlier reported that the artiste was impressed with a nurse who kept going to attend to patients during strike.

The social media user queried, “Why do some Nigerians love rewarding bad behavior???”

Iyanya replied, “What’s your definition of bad behavior?

A nurse decided not to go on strike so she can save lives being at work is bad behavior to you? She is an essential worker and she deserves some compensation, and the way she was humiliated was wrong.

“Find her for me, I have 500k for her immediately.

The video of the incident sparked sympathy from Iyanya, who praised the nurse for her dedication to saving lives rather than staying home.

He said her actions show she truly cares about her duty as a health worker.

On social media, he wrote:
“Can someone find her for me? I want to give her 500k. She’s not doing it for the money but to help people. Someone please find her.”

Iyanya said the way her colleagues treated her was wrong and is calling on the public to help him find her so he can reward her selflessness.
