‘Rig and die,’ Charly Boy speaks ahead of 2027 elections

Veteran Nigerian singer, Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has announced his expectations for the 2027 general elections.

While speaking in an interview with Jay-on-Air, the ‘Area Fada’ stated that Nigerians need to be strict with protecting their votes in 2027.

He also urged Nigerians not to get easily distracted. He noted that the incident of the Charly Boy bus-stop change is nothing but a distraction.

“All I’m interested in right now is, will our votes count in 2027? How do we do it?…We know the game. But I’m hoping to see ‘rig and die’ come 2027. Blood will flow; before it gets better, it will get worse,” he said.
