2027: Kogi has no plan b, we’re sticking with Tinubu – Karimi

Senator Sunday Karimi says the people of Kogi State are solidly behind President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.

Karimi, who represents Kogi West in the Senate, said on Thursday that Kogi has no alternative candidate and will stand firmly with the president.

In a statement he issued, the senator said Tinubu has done well for Kogi in terms of infrastructure and human capital development.

“Our people have benefited through key appointments and government projects. The 614km Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline is now 75 per cent complete,” he said.

Karimi noted that many of the state’s requests are getting attention under Tinubu’s leadership.

“As things stand, we are not ready for any political gamble. Kogi has no Plan B. We trust Tinubu and we are standing with him,” he said.
