Accelerate Studios has officially announced the return of its wildly popular comedy series ‘Visa on Arrival’, with Season 7 set to premiere Friday, August 8, exclusively on Accelerate TV’s YouTube channel.

Renowned for its sharp wit, outlandish characters, and satirical spin on immigration bureaucracy, Visa on Arrival continues to strike a chord with viewers across Nigeria and beyond.

The series is set in the chaotic offices of the fictional “World Immigration Service,” where eccentric immigration officers routinely frustrate hapless visa applicants with unpredictable interviews and arbitrary decisions.

“We are thrilled to bring back another season of Visa on Arrival, one of our most beloved original series,” said Colette Otusheso, CEO of The Accelerate Media Group.

“Its mix of absurd humour and sharp social commentary continues to resonate with fans. Season 7 builds on that legacy with smarter scripts, even more chaos, and characters that audiences love to watch.”

Each episode delivers a fresh dose of unpredictable visa drama—ranging from power-drunk officers to laughably tragic applicant backstories—with outcomes that usually end in one of two ways: Approved or Denied.

This season is proudly sponsored by Imperial Blue and Aquafina, in support of original African storytelling that is unapologetically humorous and culturally resonant.

Accelerate Studios, the production arm of Accelerate Media Group, continues to lead in crafting premium digital entertainment for Africa’s youth—telling stories that entertain, empower, and reflect contemporary African life.

Season 7 of Visa on Arrival premieres August 8, 2025, with new episodes every week on Accelerate TV’s YouTube.
