Former Senator Ibrahim Musa, who represented the Niger North Senatorial District between 2011 and 2015, has passed away.
He was a member of the now-defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) during his time in office. His death occurred on Thursday, August 7, 2025, in Abuja, following a brief illness.
The news was officially confirmed by the Niger State Government through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman.
In the government’s statement, it expressed deep sorrow over the loss and extended heartfelt condolences to the late senator’s family, friends, and the people of Niger State.
Senator Musa was known for his active participation in the Senate during his term, where he contributed to legislative debates and represented the interests of his constituents.
