In bid to get a full complement of his cabinet, Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, has approved the nomination of four more persons as Commissioner-Designates.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Umar Musa Ikhilor, disclosed this in a statement Friday afternoon.
Leading the latest nominees is Prince Kassim Afegbua. Others are: Ohimai Ehijimetor, Eugenia Abdallah and Godwin Afekokhe Eshieshi.
Afegbua is a seasoned journalist, public affairs commentator and politician with extensive experience in governance and media strategy.
He served in various advisory capacities, including as Commissioner for Information and Orientation, and Special Adviser on Media to former Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
“The nominations of the above-listed individuals will be forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly for consideration and confirmation,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Governor Okpebholo has approved the appointment of Aigbogun Collins, as Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Mobilization and Osobase Oboaguina as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilisation, Edo Central.
