There were also reports that Fulham, a Premier League club in England, wanted to buy him for €10 million and offer him a four-year contract, but he chose to return to Valencia instead.

Nigerian striker Sadiq Umar, who plays for Real Sociedad, has agreed to join Valencia on loan.

This will be his second time at the club after a successful loan spell there last season.

When Sadiq joined Valencia last season, the team was struggling in 19th place, but he helped them avoid relegation. After returning to Real Sociedad, many clubs in Europe showed interest in signing him.

One of those clubs was Elche, a newly promoted team, which tried to sign him permanently. But Sadiq rejected their offer. He said he wanted to stay at Real Sociedad or play for another top Spanish team.

Although the president of Real Sociedad said the 28-year-old would probably stay with the team after a good pre-season performance, Sadiq has now agreed to go back to Valencia on loan.

There were also reports that Fulham, a Premier League club in England, wanted to buy him for €10 million and offer him a four-year contract, but he chose to return to Valencia instead.
