2027: Lawyers Reunite for President Tinubu’s Reelection under LANBAT Forum

The Lawyers Network for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (LANBAT), a coalition of legal practitioners who campaigned vigorously for the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2023, has formally endorsed the President for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group, led by its convener, Adedotun Ajulo, Esq, made the announcement in Lagos on Monday, while citing President Tinubu’s notable achievements in steering the affairs of the nation and the ongoing strategic restructuring aimed at positioning Nigeria for sustainable growth and development.

Ajulo stated that the endorsement was rooted in the administration’s visible progress in critical sectors, policy reforms, and bold economic measures, which he described as laying the foundation for long-term national prosperity.

“We supported President Tinubu in 2023 because we believed in his vision. Now, with the reforms and leadership we have seen so far, it is only natural that we rally behind him again to consolidate on these gains and take Nigeria further on the path of progress,” he said.

LANBAT, which played a key role during the last election through grassroots mobilisation and public advocacy, reaffirmed its commitment to leveraging its legal expertise and nationwide network to promote the President’s reelection bid.

Ajulo noted that, “This time, again, we will reach out to more members of the public, deepen our engagements, and ensure that the message of renewed hope reaches every corner of the country. As lawyers, we understand the power of the law in nation-building, and we are determined to use our voices, platforms, and professional standing to ensure continuity of purposeful leadership under President Tinubu.”
