The first suspect, a motorcyclist named Kadir Owolabi, was stopped by police. When officers searched his luggage, they discovered three human skulls .
Further investigation led to the arrest of a second man, Jamiu Yisa, aged 53, who was apprehended near the Ijebu Ode Local Government Secretariat .
The Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, has directed that the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) take over the case to carry out a discreet investigation .
All the culprits are presently cooling off in police detention pending when investigations will be concluded and they would have their day in court.
