Ibom Air: “Wear your bra, pants or risk public shame” – Biodun Stephen

Nollywood filmmaker Biodun Stephen has advised young women to always wear underwear in public, following the recent viral incident involving passenger Comfort Emmanson on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos.
On August 10, videos circulated online showing Emmanson in a heated exchange with flight attendants and later airport security.
During the scuffle, her breasts became exposed as she was forcibly removed from the plane.
According to Ibom Air, the altercation began before takeoff when Emmanson refused to switch off her mobile phone, violating safety regulations. Another passenger eventually turned it off, sparking her anger. Upon landing in Lagos, she allegedly assaulted a flight attendant and damaged property, leading to her remand at Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
Reacting via Instagram, Stephen recalled previously urging women to wear both bras and panties, advice which she said drew criticism at the time.
“I do recall a few years ago when I did a video telling people to stop going without panties. Later, I also warned that people should always wear bras. Some of you said you can do whatever you like with your breast,” she said.
Referring to the Ibom Air incident, she noted:
“She knew she was not wearing bra or panties and she still wanted to fight. At least if you want to go to war, you must have the necessary tools — pants and bra. That lady wore leggings and I believe she didn’t wear a pant either. Did you see her two breasts out? People who were not supposed to see it, saw it.”
