Gunmen attack Plateau community, kills three

A small community in Plateau State has been attacked by Gunmen, leading to the death of three individuals.

The attack was confirmed by Chairman of Riyom LGA, Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa. He revealed that the attack occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, rendering several individuals injured and properties destroyed.

He also disclosed that the gunmen were heavily armed and were around 50 persons. He said that the  gunmen invaded the village and started shooting, setting vehicle an houses on fire.

Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa described the incident as uncalled for, and unacceptable. He advised the residents to remain calm and have faith in the security operatives.

Shuwa also went to the hospital to visit the injured persons from the attack while pledging his support to the protection of lives and properties in the community.
