Tijjani Reijnders had a great Premier League debut as Manchester City beat Wolves easily at Molineux.

The Dutch midfielder, who joined City from AC Milan this summer, played a key role in three of City’s goals. He helped set up the first goal, scored the second himself, and assisted another.

City were looking to bounce back after finishing last season without a major trophy for the first time in eight years. They started this new season strongly with a dominant win.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring after connecting with a cross from Rico Lewis. Just four minutes later, Reijnders made it 2-0 with a calm finish into the bottom corner.

City’s third goal came on the hour mark when Reijnders set up Haaland for his second of the match. Later, substitute Rayan Cherki added a fourth goal.

Wolves had some chances, but a header by Marshall Munetsi was ruled out for offside. Jorgen Strand Larsen missed a close shot, and Rayan Ait-Nouri fired a volley over the bar.

Goalkeeper James Trafford made his debut for City, stepping in for the injured Ederson. He kept a clean sheet and looked confident throughout the match.
