Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface is closing in on a move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
His agent is expected in Italy today to finalise talks with the Rossoneri after Milan and Bayer Leverkusen reached an agreement for an initial loan deal.
The deal includes a €30m buy option clause, which would make the Nigerian forward a permanent Milan player if exercised.
Boniface, 24, has been on the radar of several top European clubs following his exploits with Leverkusen, where he played a key role in their Bundesliga success last season.
Milan, who are looking to strengthen their attack ahead of the new campaign, see the Nigerian as a strong addition to their frontline.
With club-to-club negotiations already sealed, the move now rests on personal terms and medicals.
If completed, Boniface will join the long list of Nigerian stars to feature in Serie A, including Nwankwo Kanu, Obafemi Martins and Victor Osimhen.
