EPL: Eze’s Arsenal debut delayed until Liverpool game

Arsenal failed to register Eberechi Eze in time for their match against Leeds United.
The club missed the Premier League’s 12:00 pm registration deadline on Friday, meaning Eze cannot play in Saturday’s game.
However, the 27-year-old midfielder will be available for Arsenal’s next match against Liverpool on August 31.
Arsenal signed Eze from Crystal Palace on Wednesday, matching Tottenham’s £67.5 million offer.
Because of the transfer, he was also left out of Palace’s squad for their Europa Conference League game against Fredrikstad on Thursday.

Although he won’t be able to play against Leeds, Eze may still be introduced to the fans before the game kicks off.
