JAMB issues fresh instruction to 2025 UTME candidates

Quick Read

“All UTME candidates are strongly advised to urgently re-upload their 2025 WAEC SSCE results via any accredited JAMB centre to remain eligible for admission consideration,” the bulletin said.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a directive to all 2025 UTME candidates who uploaded their O’level results before the release of the final West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC SSCE) results.

The instruction  is for them to revisit accredited CBT centres and re-upload their results.

In its weekly bulletin released on Monday, JAMB said that all previously uploaded O’level results have been cleared from its system. This action, according to the Board, is to prevent errors and ensure only final, verified WAEC results are used during the admission process.

The Board said that many candidates who applied with the “awaiting result” status had prematurely uploaded incomplete or unofficial WAEC records. To maintain the integrity of its admission process, JAMB is making  it mandatory for all candidates—regardless of whether their new results have changed or not—to re-upload their complete, official results.

“All UTME candidates are strongly advised to urgently re-upload their 2025 WAEC SSCE results via any accredited JAMB centre to remain eligible for admission consideration,” the bulletin said.
