Rwanda storms Uyo September 3 for World Cup qualifier against Super Eagles

The Rwandan national football team will arrive in Uyo on Wednesday, September 3, as they prepare to face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Rwanda, popularly called the Amavubi (The Wasps), will be led by head coach Adel Amrouche, who is expected to name his final squad in the coming days.
