Super Falcons Captain Rasheedat Ajibade says she is deeply honoured to now be a player for the French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON)-winning star said this after signing a two year-deal with PSG. She joins the French club after her exit from the Spanish club Atlético de Madrid at the end of last season.
“I’m deeply honoured to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, a top-drawer club in Europe. This is a major step for me, and I’m committed to giving my all to help PSG win titles and to inspire young footballers, be they in Nigeria or elsewhere,” Ajibade said.
The Nigerian international inked the two-year contract with the French giants, with an option to extend for a third year. She is said to have joined her new teammates in training ahead of the upcoming season.
