Phyna calls out Dangote Group over sister’s medical treatment

Reality TV star Ijeoma Joesphina Otabor, also known as Phyna, has called out Dangote Group for not fulfilling the promises made to her sister.

Th BBNaija winner had previously called out the organisation over an accident caused by one of their trucks, that led to her sister’s leg being amputated.

The company responded to the accusation with an official statement, taking responsibility for the tragedy that occurred.

Phyna on her Instagram page on Wednesday, stated that the company had agreed to fund her sister’s expenses for medical care in India.

“My sister’s life must not be put at risk. She needs urgent care and it’s beyond what local hospitals can handle. Dangote must keep to their words. If Dangote’s child is sick, do they wait for medical reports to tell them to treat the girl in Nigeria? My sister’s lungs, there is fluid. Her reproductive organ is crushed. Her bladder is busted. We are praying every day for her to get to the next day. And you’re trying to outsmart me,” she said.

Phyna also accused the company of trying to outsmart her by not fulfilling their end of the agreement. She also called on Aliko Dangote to intervene in the situation.

“You’re trying to play me. You’re trying to make me feel like I’m not smart or I don’t know what I’m saying. After we already had an agreement that my sister was just going to be in Lagoon, seal, all documents to fly her are ready. And now, this one will never even talk of other demands will follow. This one I just make her focus on her medical first. That’s what me I’m trying to make clear. I cannot use my sister’s life to gamble,” she said.
