Plateau Govt. reiterates demand for state Police

The Plateau State government as made a fresh call, demanding the establishment of  state policing structure.

The fresh demand was made by Joyce Ramnap, the State Commissioner for Information and Communication. She stated this while speaking during a live radio progamme.

While reinstating the governor’s demand for state police, Ramnap noted that the structure will help ensure better security for those at the grassroot level.

Ramnap also stated that the challenges they face in the state regarding security, demands to be deliberately addressed. She expressed that the state police will work towards ensuring peace and safety in the rural areas of Plateau state.
