Lil Nas X breaks silence after ‘terrifying’ arrest

American rapper Montero Lamar Hill, popularly known as Lil Nas X, has spoken up after his arrest in Los Angeles.

The rapper who described the experience as terrifying, was arrested on Thursday, after being found walking the streets naked.

Lil Nas X was accused of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. He however, pleaded not guilty to the allegations, and was released after paying a paying a $75,000 (£56,000) bail.

The rapper took to his Instagram page to speak about the arrest, noting that he is fine.

“Your girl is gonna be OK, y’all. That was terrifying, that was a terrifying last four days,” he said.

The rapper could face up to five years in prison if found guilty.
