Spurs seal Xavi Simons deal

Tottenham Hotspur have officially completed the signing of Dutch star Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig in a deal worth €60m.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has already passed his medical in England and signed a long-term contract that runs until 2030, with an option for two additional years.

Chelsea were previously in the running but shifted focus elsewhere, leaving Spurs free to secure the highly sought-after playmaker.

Simons becomes the latest marquee arrival under Thomas Frank, following Joao Palhinha and Mohammed Kudus.

After missing out on Morgan Gibbs-White and Eberechi Eze earlier this summer, this deal sends a clear message: Spurs are serious about re-establishing themselves among the Premier League’s elite.
