West Ham United are also interested, seeing him as a possible replacement for Edson Álvarez. Meanwhile, Brugge are under pressure to keep their squad together, as defender Joel Ordoñez is pushing for a move
Raphael Onyedika, a Nigerian midfielder who plays for Club Brugge, has agreed personal terms with Victor Osimhen clubsides, Galatasaray.
The Turkish champions are now negotiating with Brugge over the transfer fee of the Super Eagles player.
According to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Galatasaray turned to Onyedika after their move for Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma failed.
The 24-year-old has accepted their offer, and the club has already made an official bid. The deal is structured as a loan with a mandatory buy option, including a €5m loan fee and a €15m purchase clause for next season.
However, Club Brugge reportedly want €25m before letting him go. Onyedika, who joined the Belgian side in 2022, is eager to move and wear Galatasaray’s yellow-red jersey.
West Ham United are also interested, seeing him as a possible replacement for Edson Álvarez. Meanwhile, Brugge are under pressure to keep their squad together, as defender Joel Ordoñez is pushing for a move to Marseille and striker Christos Tzolis recently had a €32m bid from Crystal Palace rejected.
A final decision on Onyedika’s transfer is expected soon.
If the deal materialises, Onyedika will be joining another Super Eagles player, Victor Osimhen.
