Chelsea have confirmed the permanent transfer of forward Christopher Nkunku to Serie A giants AC Milan.
Nkunku, who joined the West London club from RB Leipzig in 2023, endured an injury-plagued debut season, making only 14 appearances and scoring three goals.
The France international, however, bounced back in his second campaign, registering 15 goals across 48 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is set for a move to Bayern Munich.
With Nkunku moving to Italy and Jackson bound for Germany, Chelsea’s forward line is expected to undergo major reshaping before the transfer window closes. Manager Enzo Maresca is reportedly keen on bringing in a versatile attacker to fill the void.”
