Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson is set to join Bayern Munich on loan after both clubs agreed on a revised deal.

The updated agreement includes a €16.5 million loan fee up from the original €15 million and features a buy clause with an obligation to purchase in 2026, as Chelsea requested.

Jackson has already agreed to a five-year contract with the German champions.

Speaking earlier when the original deal appeared to have collapsed, Barat said: “Nico was ready. Bayern was ready. We were all aligned on a world-class project. For the agreement to be withdrawn at the final moment is deeply frustrating. But we won’t give up.”

The striker’s agent also highlighted that Chelsea may rely on Jackson due to Liam Delap’s injury, but the new agreement now clears the way for Jackson’s move.

The deal ends weeks of speculation and marks a major coup for Bayern, who have secured a forward ready to contribute immediately and with long-term potential
