The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the safe recovery of Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, younger brother of Big Brother Naija twins, Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe, after he was declared missing earlier this week.

According to Babaseyi Oluseyi, the Command’s deputy spokesperson, Odera was last seen on September 1, 2025, after he left his residence in Victoria Island driving his father’s Nissan 350Z Convertible and he  failed to return. The family formally reported his disappearance to the Victoria Island Police Division on September 3.

Acting on the report, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, ordered a prompt and discreet investigation. Through actionable intelligence and assistance from concerned citizens, Odera was traced to the Mile 2 area of Lagos.

He was found alive, though reportedly in a distressed condition, and has since been reunited with his family. Authorities confirmed that he is receiving medical care and psychological support. His vehicle was also recovered during the operation.

Commissioner Jimoh commended the swift response of the police operatives and the cooperation of the public. He reiterated the Command’s dedication to public safety, urging residents to report any suspicious or emergency cases without delay.
