Joke Silva grieves over brother’s passing

Nollywood veteran Joke Silva has expressed her grief over the passing of her brother, John Olabiyi Silva.

Joke on her Instagram page on Thursday, confirmed the passing of her brother who passed away on the 29th of August.

“With acceptance of God’s Sovereign will …we announce the call to Glory of my dear brother John Olabiyi Silva …long John Silva…Bros B…Uncle B…. my easy go lucky brother. Rest in peace. January 22nd 1953-August 29th, 2025,” she wrote.

The announcement of her brother’s passing quickly prompted condolence messages from her colleagues and fans.

Her brother, John Olabiyi Silva, died at the age of 72.
