INEC endorses David Mark as ADC leader

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially recognised the David Mark-led leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), clearing the way for the party’s nationwide restructuring ahead of future elections.

Mark, a former Senate President, now leads a team including Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Mani as National Treasurer, Akibu Dalhatu as National Financial Secretary, and Professor Oserheimen Aigberaodion Osunbor as National Legal Adviser, all formally acknowledged by INEC.

The development signals a fresh start for the ADC, which plans to embark on reconciliation and mobilisation across the country as it positions itself for the 2027 general elections.
