The FBI says it now has images of the suspect behind the deadly Utah Valley University shooting, that claimed Charlie Kirk’s life,  though authorities have yet to release the shooter’s face to the public.

Speaking on Thursday, FBI Special Agent in Charge Robert Bohls said investigators are “exhausting every resource” to track down the individual. “We have images of the suspect, but we can’t comment specifically on his face yet. We’ll release that shortly,” he said. Bohls added that authorities are still unsure how far the suspect has fled.

The suspect, believed to be of college age, reportedly blended in seamlessly with the campus before the attack, Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason told reporters. “That individual appears to be of college age,” Mason confirmed, though he declined to provide further details at this stage.

Authorities have recovered what is believed to be the weapon used in Wednesday’s attack — a high-powered bolt-action rifle — in a wooded area near the campus. Investigators are also examining a footwear impression and a forearm imprint, which could help identify the shooter.

The FBI said it has received more than 130 tips from the public since the attack and continues to urge anyone with information to come forward.

The shooting, which left conservative influencer Charlie Kirk dead during a Turning Point USA event, has sparked a nationwide manhunt. FBI agents are working closely with local police to apprehend the gunman, while officials continue to reassure the community that there is no ongoing threat.

Authorities have promised further updates as the investigation unfolds.
