Rapper DDG set to relocate from America after split with Halle Bailey

American rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., popularly known as DDG, has revealed his intention to relocate to Lagos, Nigeria, as he navigates a highly publicized custody dispute with his ex-girlfriend, singer and actress Halle Bailey.

The rapper made the announcement in a post on X (formerly Twitter), where he expressed frustration with life in Los Angeles.

“I’m so tired of living in LA. I can’t wait til I move to Lagos, Nigeria,” he wrote.

This is not the first time DDG has hinted at relocating. In January 2025, he disclosed that he was considering a move to either London or Lagos, citing dissatisfaction with his lifestyle in the United States.

DDG and Bailey have been embroiled in a legal battle over custody of their 17-month-old son, Halo. The dispute intensified after Bailey accused the rapper of physical and emotional abuse, securing a temporary restraining order against him.
