Aproko Doctor warns against pregnancy scams

Nigerian doctor and media personality, Chinonso Egemba, also known as Aproko Doctor, has warned Nigerian women against a rise in ‘pregnancy scams’.

The medical doctor on his X handle claimed that some medical professionals engage in cryptic pregnancy scams and trafficking babies.

Aproko Doctor also stated that these doctors claim no one else can see the baby during an ultrasound because it is a cryptic pregnancy but in reality the lady is not pregnant.

“There’s a pregnancy SCAM going on: Anybody that tells you that another person cannot see the baby in your womb with an ultrasound scan is about to scam you. If there’s a pregnancy it would be seen by ultra sound scans. A lot of women are being scammed this way. Then they pump them full of drugs to mimic pregnancy and tell them not to do scans. Then produce a baby and give it to the woman. It’s a criminal racket,” he stated
