Why I’m avoiding pregnancy – BBNaija’s Vee

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and actress, Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, has opened up about her determination to avoid getting pregnant for the wrong man.

Speaking in a recent video broadcast, the reality TV star admitted that dating, especially in Lagos, can be difficult, and she has made it her life’s mission to avoid situations that could leave her tied to a man who might disrespect her as a baby daddy.

“It is my mission in life to avoid the wrong man getting me pregnant. And it’s not to say I’m better than the women that have been in that position,” Vee stated.

She explained that her stance comes from a deep sense of self-awareness and a desire to protect her mental health.

“It’s simply because I know myself, I know what I’m like, and I try to avoid certain situations that would put me in a state of psychosis. I’m passionate about not getting f*cked over, and maybe that is what stops me from finding unapologetic love,” she added.

Vee further described herself as “stubborn and hard-headed but not stupid,” stressing the importance of making the right choice in a life partner. According to her, while it may be impossible to know someone completely, one can still try to make informed choices by learning from others’ experiences.
