Popular skit maker and singer, Carter Efe, has stirred reactions online after claiming he graduated from Babcock University with a first class upper degree in Biochemistry.

The comedian made the assertion during a recent livestream, where he appeared visibly upset at fans who, according to him, often disrespect him.

“I went to Babcock University and graduated with first class upper. Go and ask. I studied Biochemistry. I was the best in my set. Make una no use me dey play o. Most of una wey dey watch me, I senior una,” he bragged.

This is not the first time Carter Efe has made such claims.

He had previously tweeted that he was the best in his set at the private university.

However, his latest video has drawn widespread attention, with many social media users questioning the authenticity of his academic credentials.

While some netizens dismissed the claim as comic exaggeration, others mocked his description of “first class upper,” saying it does not exist in Nigeria’s grading system.

One X user, @LEZZYBRUV, wrote: “First class upper? Him don create him own degree, everything na mindset.”
Another, @uzomaakonwu, added: “First class has an ‘upper’? This is my first time hearing this.”

Despite the criticisms, Carter Efe maintained his stance, insisting that he truly graduated with top honours.
