The return of the UEFA Europa League

The UEFA Europa League is back with 2025/26 edition of the League returning to our screen on September 24.

This has generated public excitement with emergence of new teams who seem hungry to win.

The UEL will consist of 36 teams on the league table, out of which 18 will play on the opening day.

Matches billed for the Matchday 1 include PAOK of Greece facing Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel alongside and FC Midtjylland of Denmark facing SK Strum Graz in the opening stage.

Both matches will kick off at the same time before other matches such as Nice versus Roma; Real Betis versus Nottingham Forest, and GNK Dinamo Zagreb versus Fenerbache, among others.
