‘I was getting ready to bow out of music’, Davido

Nigerian artist David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has revealed that he was planning to bouw out of the music industry before his hit song ‘With You‘.

While speaking in a now viral interview, Davido stated that he did not expect the track to be the most popular song off his album.

While expressing his gratitude to his fans, he stated that he was already thinking of quitting music after a decade in the industry.

“We thank God. 13 or 14 years after for me to have this kind of song, people have this kind of song at the beginning of their career or in the middle. Me that was even getting ready to bow out then God gives me this kind of song. He definitely added more life to it,” he stated.
