The creators of an American Television series, Stranger things, have shared their thoughts on the impact the show and its popularity had on their child stars.
The series which initially premiered in 2016, approaches its final season with the casts who were once kids all grown up.
Matt and Ross Duffer, the creators of the series expressed their thoughts on the growth of the show, while taking a trip down memory lane.
“It’s wild. It’s a reminder of how long this has been and how lucky we are. Because we’re really– it’s a family who’ve sort of gone through all this together,” Matt Duffer said.
He also expressed his deep relief for the impact of fame on the Stranger Things young stars, noting that none of them were ‘ruined’ by it.
“I think it always comes down to the parents. They had good families, and supportive parents (who) kept them grounded. So that was a relief,” Ross Duffer added.
The Duffer brothers also spoke on the importance of the actors being kept grounded by their family and community of friends.
“I think it also kept them grounded that it wasn’t just one of them. There’s a whole group of them, and they stayed friends and they stayed connected when seasons ended,” they stated.
