Customs issues fresh warning ahead of online recruitment test

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced that its online recruitment test for shortlisted applicants in the Superintendent Cadre will hold on Thursday, October 2, 2025.

In a statement on Monday, the Service said candidates have been grouped into three batches — A, B, and C — and must check their schedule by logging in with their National Identification Number (NIN) via the official portal.

The Customs Service warned that strict compliance with assigned batch and time is mandatory, stressing that failure to adhere could lead to disqualification.

Applicants were further cautioned against the use of calculators, mobile devices or attempting to switch browser windows during the test, as such actions may block access and prevent re-entry.

The agency clarified that this phase is strictly for the Superintendent Cadre. Those who applied under the Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres are not expected to log in yet, as their own test schedules will be communicated in due course.

The NCS also reminded candidates to disregard any unofficial information and rely solely on updates from its verified platforms.
