Daddy Freeze finally speaks on why his marriage crashed

Popular media personality Daddy Freeze has opened up about his past marriage, revealing that he tied the knot with his ex-wife, Opeyemi, solely because she got pregnant.

Freeze made this known during a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, where he reflected on the circumstances surrounding his early marriage and subsequent divorce.

According to him, he and Opeyemi were too young and immature to get married but went through with it because of the pregnancy.

“We had no business getting married because we were very young and immature. I was 24, and she was 22 when we married. She was pregnant. If she were not pregnant, I’m not sure we would have gotten married. So pregnancy was one of the factors that influenced the marriage,” he said.

The controversial broadcaster further disclosed that the marriage has been over for nearly a decade but claimed his ex-wife has denied him access to their children.

“My ex-wife and I are very stubborn. She will not hear, and I will not hear. It was two damaged people in a union. My only pain is marriage no work, can I see or talk to my kids on the phone? They’re out of the country. I traced them but I don’t want to sneak up on them. If they want to see me, a DM on social media
