Comedian AY opens up on fake celebrity lifestyle

Nigerian comedian and actor Ayo Makun, also known as AY, has made a shocking revelation about celebrities and influencers.

AY on his Instagram page on Thursday, noted the harm in making comparisons. He further warned people not to fashion their lives based off of what they see online, emphasising that most of it is fake.

AY further added that some influencers and celebrities go as far as borrowing outfits and wigs just to look the part.

“Many of these celebrities you envy are living on borrowed wigs, borrowed outfits, and borrowed lifestyles. Some take pictures in hotel lobbies and call them their new homes, while others pose with cars that don’t belong to them. Social media is like a movie set; not everything you see online is real,” he stated.
