The photographer, identified by the handle @Scripture231, had earlier expressed disappointment on X (formerly Twitter) after being stopped from taking behind-the-scenes photos during a music video shoot directed by Omori.

Popular Nigerian music video director, TG Omori, has addressed an aspiring photographer who took to social media to complain about being denied access to one of his production sets.

The photographer, identified by the handle @Scripture231, had earlier expressed disappointment on X (formerly Twitter) after being stopped from taking behind-the-scenes photos during a music video shoot directed by Omori.

He wrote:

“Today I went for a TG Omori set with a renowned Igbo artist. Thought it would be a great day meeting my mentor, but the production manager bounced me and said I can’t take BTS photos!
Note to self: one day, the dreams would be realistic.”

Reacting to the post, TG Omori advised the young photographer to always respect people’s privacy and the rules of production.

He responded:

“Even if you become the number one photographer in the world tomorrow, you have to respect people’s privacy. A closed set is a closed set. How do you expect to walk into my production set and start taking behind-the-scenes images without the producers’ consent because you have a dream! Talking about my dreams are valid.”
