Adeboye warns what will happen if U.S. invades Nigeria

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has warned that Nigeria would be on its own if the United States goes ahead with a military invasion over alleged Christian persecution.
Speaking on Friday during the November Holy Ghost Service, Adeboye urged President Bola Tinubu to act fast and crush terrorists and their sponsors before the situation escalates beyond control.
He cautioned that China, Russia, and other world powers would not come to Nigeria’s defence if the U.S. decides to strike.
“They would only talk,” he said.
Adeboye adviced the Federal Government to give the new service chiefs a three-month ultimatum to wipe out terrorists and their financiers.
“This is not the time for apportioning blame. Our President inherited this problem — it started before him,” he added.
His warning comes in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threats, where Trump vowed to take decisive action against what he described as “an existential threat” to Christianity in Nigeria.
Trump, in a post on his Truth Social platform, said the U.S. “cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening,” adding that his administration would be “ready, willing and able to protect our great Christian population around the world.”
He has also directed members of Congress, including Riley Moore and House Appropriations Committee Chairman Tom Cole, to investigate the situation and report back to him.
