The Labour Party governorship candidate George Moghalu has been defeated in his polling unit by the governor, Charles Soludo who contested on the platform of All Progressives Congress.
According to result compiled after the ballot have been counted and published by The Cable, Moghalu scored 22 votes in his polling unit while Soludo scored 57 votes in the Anambra election conducted on Saturday.
Nichola Ukachukwu, the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC score on five votes in the polling unit.
However, only 86 voters showed up and were accredited to vote out of 463 registered voters in the polling unit. The low turn-out of voters reflected concern that the election many witness less than 20 per cent turn out of voters.
