As of Sunday evening, seven players have reported to camp as preparations intensify for the decisive encounter. The early arrivals include Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, Wilfred Ndidi, and Moses Simon.

Team officials also confirmed that three more players, William Troost-Ekong, Benjamin Fredericks, and Chidozie Awaziem are expected to arrive later tonight to bring the camp closer to full strength.

The mood in camp is described as positive, with the early arrivals already undergoing light training sessions and recovery drills under the supervision of the technical crew.

The Super Eagles are targeting nothing short of victory against Gabon in what many have dubbed a “must-win” fixture that could define Nigeria’s path to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The squad will continue to train in Rabat before their final tactical sessions later in the week.
