Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, met privately with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Sunday.
Fayose arrived at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library and was received by some of Obasanjo’s aides before heading to the former president’s private home, where both men held a closed-door meeting.
Although the details of their discussion were not made public, sources said it was a private visit that lasted for more than an hour.
The meeting has stirred political speculation, coming at a time when the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is reportedly working on reconciliation and political realignment ahead of future elections.
