Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) secured a resounding re-election victory in the Anambra State governorship election on November 8, 2025, marking his second term until 2030.

Declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after results from all 21 local government areas (LGAs) were collated, Soludo swept every single LGA, a rare feat underscoring APGA’s enduring dominance in the state.
