DJ Xclusive laments over common Police practice

British Nigerian Disc Jockey, Rotimi Alakija, popularly known as DJ Xclusive, has lamented over a common ‘stop and search’ practice done by police officers.

DJ Xclusive on his Instagram page, claimed that some officers of the Nigerian Police force only stop to search individuals with expensive cars.

He added that this act makes it easier for criminals to get away with crime because they just need to convey themselves in an old looking car.

“Nigerian police only stop flashy cars for stop and search… Making it easy for thieves to rob, because all they gotta do is use cars that ain’t that flashy,” he wrote.

This comment quickly stirred up the conversation about the bias and unprofessional practices among some police officers.
