2025 NYSC Batch ‘C’ camp opens November 19 across Nigeria

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Orientation Course will begin on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in all orientation camps across Nigeria.
According to the NYSC, registration for all prospective corps members will take place from November 19 until midnight on Friday, November 21, 2025.
The announcement was made in a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu.
She said the swearing-in ceremony will be held on Friday, November 21, while the closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
Embu added that the NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all corps members safe travels to their camps. He also advised them not to travel at night for safety reasons.
The NYSC explained that this update follows the release of call-up numbers for Batch ‘C’ members, which was confirmed on the scheme’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday.
The statement further noted that only about 40 percent of registered prospective corps members will be accommodated in this batch because of limited space in the camps across the country.
Those who are not mobilised in Batch ‘C’ will be included in the next exercise, the NYSC assured.
