‘I never went after Regina Daniels,’ Ned Nwoko

Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko, has opened up on his marriage with Regina Daniels, revealing that he never wooed her.

While reacting to some allegations about his controversy with his estranged wife, Nwoko stated that Regina’s mom brought her to him. He also clarified that he married her when she was 19 and not 17 as alleged.

In a statement made available to News Agency of Nigeria, NAN by his Communication and Technical Action Team, Nwoko stated that he has witnesses to testify that Rita Daniels, Regina’s mom was the one that brought her to him with a marriage proposal.

“For clarity, Regina Daniels was born October 10, 2000. If she has been married to me for 6 years, that means she married at 19 and not 17. The public witnessed her family giving her away in marriage. There were witnesses to the fact that her mother personally brought her to me. I never went after her,” he stated.
